Buttery Garlic Mushrooms in 15 Minutes

Ingredients:

• 5 tbsp butter, unsalted

• 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

• ¼ cup finely diced onion

• 1 lb cremini or white button mushrooms

• 3 tbsp dry white wine (or chicken/vegetable broth)

• 2 tsp minced garlic

• 2 tbsp chopped parsley

• Salt and black pepper, to taste

• Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions:

1. Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel; trim stems if needed.

2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter with olive oil. Sauté the diced onion until tender—about 3 minutes.

3. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook for 4–5 minutes until they start to turn golden around the edges.

4. Pour in the white wine (or broth) and scrape up any browned bits. Let it cook for 2 minutes until the liquid reduces slightly.

5. Stir in the minced garlic and 1 tablespoon of parsley; cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

6. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Sprinkle the remaining parsley on top, give it a final stir, and serve warm.

Ready in just about 15 minutes, these mushrooms are indulgingly buttery, garlicky, and so easy. Perfect as a side or tucked into pasta, toast, or alongside your protein of choice.
